Amy Nixon will speak about the maturity of Mount Royal University's safe disclosure, and protected disclosure (Whistleblower) policies and processes. Amy's presentation will include discussion on the use of a Whistleblower hotline and how the policies and processes were transformed.

Amy Nixon

Amy is the General Counsel and University Secretary at Mount Royal University, overseeing governance, risk, legal, emergency response, privacy, safe disclosure, environmental health and safety, security services, and employee wellness. Called to the Alberta Law Society Bar in 2006, former board Chair of Curling Canada, current board member at YMCA Canada, certified governance professional (GPC.D), retired high performance athlete and 2006 Olympic Bronze Medalist (curling).
